Unikitty's 3rd Anniversary

Today marks exactly three years since Unikitty first premiered. Unikitty is by far one of the most amazing shows I have ever watched. One of the first things that attracted me to the show was the vibrant colours and the fact that the main character was a hybrid of two of my favourite animals: cats and unicorns. I don't remember the exact date I started watching it, but it was around the time it premiered. Over the months, I watched episodes as they came out online, but never felt that attached to it until I began watching episodes on TV constantly starting at the Christmas marathon in December 2019. The marathon was like a bonding experience with the show in a sense, I spent time with the show and got to know it even more, and became more attached than ever. I began my production on the Unikitty movie in April 2020, and after finding out about Unikitty's finale in May 2020, I was extremely heartbroken. It was the saddest I have ever been in my life, and for a few days, I felt pretty hopeless. But I pushed away those negative feelings. Unikitty wouldn't have wanted me to sit back and cry. She would have wanted me to do something about it, and that's exactly what I intended to do. I got to work and continued to write the movie script, which is still in production now. Around the same time, I also began writing some episode ideas. One of them, a two-parter, is currently in scripting production, while the rest are pending, as I am giving myself a break from the movie. In September 2020, I got the idea to make a website to display my work and creations online for everyone to view, and created this very website.
And here we are, three years later, with the show nowhere to be seen and totally forgotten about in the U.S.A. Forgotten by most people, that is, but not me. I have experienced many unfair things happening with TV shows, but this is by far the most unfair cancellation and show treatment I have ever come across. I think we can all agree on one thing: Unikitty deserved better. Unikitty deserved THE best. It was a show that revolved around fun and positivity, two of the things that many of us find it hard to get in life, and Unikitty provided that spark of hope to find happiness and produced laughs for us all.
Many people let go of the show and just gave up on it, simply thanking those who worked on it and leaving it at that. They let the show die. They let it go and moved on. Why they never put any effort into trying to bring it back is beyond me. That is part of the reason why I begun this website and why I have tried to build this community and support group to protest against Unikitty's unfair cancellation.
Unikitty, I will give you the love you need to continue, to eventually come back and live to your full potential. You are not totally gone. You are on a life support that I am providing for you daily by continuing to write scripts and make art. I also plan to possibly storyboard the scripts in the future. If I give up, pulling that plug on the life support, then you will be gone.
Being the only one providing the life support for Unikitty, putting all the energy I can into it, it's difficult as heck, but if I stop trying, the plug will be pulled and there will be no chance. If someone or something was lost or was on the brink of death, whether it be yours or of someone you care about, would you walk away and abandon them/it, or would you help to save them/it?
